Livving photos

For those of you who follow my Instagram account, you'll know that I've recently figured out how to make these gifs that Tyra Banks likes to call "living photos," except I don't use the app Flixel to do them (since the free version of the app has its limitations). I use Photoshop and I get the same results :)

Today, my friend Keita and I took the liberty to test and work out the kinks of this, and I have to say, I'm liking the results and I will probably want to do every single Instagram as a "living photo" hehehe...

Sam S.

I shot my friend Sam S. today downtown and it turned out to be a much longer shoot than I expected, but we got some good results from it! I met him a couple months back at the LA open call for America's Next Top Model cycle 20 where we waited 12 hours to be seen!! :O Well we both didn't make it, but that was probably for the better! Anyway, I almost stepped in human poop while shooting these pics!

Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and Twitter! Have a nice day, I can't wait for the next shoot.

Keita M.

So lately I've really gotten into photography and here are some results from my shoot with my friend Keita M. I'm hoping to improve some more and I have a couple more shoots scheduled coming up with some of my other friends! Stay tuned for more updates :D And don't forget to follow me on Twitter and Instagram!

Red shorts on a spring day out

This red shorts are the last of the items I got from my JCPenney shopping trip. $12 and they look good ;)

It's a pretty simple look, which is something I like, especially for spring and summer time.

That's really all I have to say about this look, except I really love this photo taken by Law K.

Polka dots

So my friend keeps telling me how late the US is on fashion trends, because he bought all this polka dotted stuff in Japan years ago. It's probably true, but I'm really digging this shirt.

I got it pretty cheap at JCP, same with the Levi's jeans. I never really shopped there before, but now they're having some really cute stuff at good prices. I just bought a pair of red shorts that I'll be posting later.

The fit of the shirt leaves something to be desired, it's a little bit too long and too loose for my tastes, especially for a size small. But I can always get that tailored later on ;) The material isn't the best, but neither is the stuff you find at Forever 21, the difference is JCP is way cheaper haha

Let's go simple

I decided to go really simple for this outfit of the day yesterday. I had just bought this shirt for only $5 at JCPenney, and what I really like about it is its sleeves are tight around my arms, and it fits nicely around my chest, but it's not super skin-tight around the rest of my torso. The chinos I actually got for free from a friend when they had a buy-one-get-one-free deal during the holidays, and now they're one of my favorite clothing items to wear. I also got my new Oxfords from JCPenney for only $50, they're really nice, comfortable, and look amazing! I love that the soles are a nice bright orange color, it gives it a little bit of spice. And I think it's really OK, since the majority of the outfit is in the same color-family so it doesn't overwhelm the eyes with too much color. I added in my gold earrings, one of my favorites, for a nice bright finishing touch. Photos taken by the very lovely Lawrence K.
